Thank you for you kind response to my Disco Rainbow Blanket. Here are some more details for you if you wish to have a go yourself. I will include some more information including how to work the join-as-you-go squares in a later post (next Sunday so keep a look out).
Yarn: Stylecraft Special Double Knit (100% acrylic)
Red- Lipstick (1246)
Orange- Spice (1711)
Yellow- Sunshine (1114)
Green- Green (1116)
Blue- Aster (1003)
Indigo- Royal (1117)
Violet- Plum (1061)
White- White (1001)
Hook: 3.5mm
Stitches:
The squares: Traditional granny squares using treble crochet and chain stitches. These consisted of 4 rounds and were joined using the join-as-you-go method.
Approx size: 1.5m x 1.0m
Blocking: Yes :-) I blocked the completed blanket by soaking in Eucalan and pinned flat to dry.
Square arrangement: You've got to love a diagram....
